The next meeting will be on Saturday, April 5, 2008 at the First Presbyterian Church of Roseville. The speaker will be Connie Neal, who will speak on "What's a Christian To Do With Harry Potter?"
In the fall we will meet at the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd on October 11, 2008. No program has been selected yet.
Past Events
The Fall 2007 conference was held on October 13th at Calvary Bible Church in Acampo. Meta Chappius was host librarian. Our speaker was Connie Van Berkel, a local Christian author and motivational speaker. Her topic was "Victory" from her book, "Choose High Road Victories". We also had book talks from the owner of Vines and Branches, a local Christian bookstore.
The Spring 2007 conference was held on April 14th at the Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Sacramento. Two board members reported on the National Conference, as well as a presentation by " Miss Julia", the popular Ann B. Ross book character, who told us about successful book talks!
